I would make embroidery designs that look like tooled leather. A lot of tone on tone, and quilting looks.

I wish I lived in your area so I can take this class because sewing is some thing that my grannies used to do and the women in my community and it’s something that I’ve always kept in the back of my mind. I even went ahead and started, sewing clothing by hand. lol not the best but we finished. I was so happy that I accomplished it.
